Moon Phase in Aquarius – Opening new Horizons

When the moon passes Aquarius our intuitive thoughts are heightened and we definitely should spend some time listening to what is coming through. There might be the one or other treasure hidden in the streaming of our own inner wisdom.

Independent and loyal is the Aquarius and no one will ever be able to change that. The Aquarius needs a lot of space, emotionally and physically and absolutely hates it to be caged in. He/she will never ever fit into a box, unless the box is made of an irregular shape, painted in all sorts of colours and the lid is always taken off.

This is what we also will feel once the Moon passes through Aquarius on its 28 days cycle. Our need for more personal freedom, our own space and a lot of independence is all that we will ask for. We will or will want to rebel against all that is normal or stuck because we feel that things could be done differently. During these days we might get some great ideas to deal with an ongoing problem or we discover new insights to an old issue.

by wallpaperweb.org

Different then Aries, which just wants to break free and do their own thing, Aquarius wants to break through the barriers of social rigid rules which define our sense of normal. While Aries focuses more on its own path, Aquarius energy focuses on everybody path and its desire to change the world is deeply rooted in the belief that all beings are equally important.

by webfoundation.org

We might feel during Aquarius days that we do suffer more from the collective inequality in the world than on other days. This kind of ‘feeling’ crisis maybe also holds the opportunity to actually find new ways in improving society with our own two pairs of hands. Any kind of charity works is very beneficial and absolutely right up the street of Aquarius. So doing something good for someone elses might bring  deep satisfaction to this humanitarian days.

bypeaceprice.com

The Moon in Aquarius days can also come across quite unpredictable and everything can happen. Be prepared for surprises and try to surrender to the exciting unknown along the route an Aquarius moon day can take you. New Horizons and a lot of interesting intellectual conversations would be a great use of this day. Pondering in ideas, visions and dreams of the coming future helps anybody who lately got stuck too much in their own reality. Share and sharing is very important and beneficial for Aquarius moon days.

Positivity and optimism as guiding light

Positivity and optimism could be seen as guiding lights on Aquarius days and we might feel that nearly everything is possible. As long as we can follow our own ideas, work in our own pace and actually just do what we want to do. Moon in Aquarius days are not really good to sign contracts, enter into commitments or follow any kind of rules. Airy and fairy that is more what it’s all about, if it then is also out of the ordinary the better it is.

by pinterest.com

Aquarius Moon Days are great days for developing or deepening friendships or even make new friends. We are open-minded and tend to be able in accepting everybody just as they are. We are not too much concerned with our own emotions unless someone would trigger our need for free self-expression. It’s definitely not a good day in seeking advice for any kind of legal decisions or to think about serious things. What has to be done, needs to be done but if you can move serious stuff to another day where you have more determination and clarity the better.

by pinterest.com

A great day to do any intellectual work, thinking about inventions or even making new inventions and find new ways in dealing with certain issues. The moon in Aquarius opens our minds and everything that is extraordinary is more than welcome to stay. A great day for new inspirations, If you need them.

Time for detachment to gain new perspectives

Me might find this day that we want to detach from everyone and everything, this can be a blessing or a curse. Understand that this feeling is only temporary rather than suddenly breaking up your relationship or quit your job. Emotionally it might can give us a bit of a break and we need that bit of a distance to connect with ourselves. Just don’t get stuck there and start isolating yourself thinking that you don’t need anyone and can do it all by yourself.

by brainpickings.com

Surround yourself with supportive people and friends, because your community spirit is very heightened these days.

Travelling via water or air is beneficial these days.

Health:

When the moon passes through Aquarius, our blood circulation can be vulnerable or weakened. Take pauses and avoid excessive sports. If you go hiking, play tennis, squash or do dancing be aware that your ankles will have a life of their own today and need extra attention.

google.com

If you already suffer from problems with your circulation and or with your ankles than this day would be a great day to give these areas extra care. Treatments and supplements that will help to increase the stability of your ankles or build up your circulation are very beneficial these days.

Avoid shopping marathons and any work that includes a lot of standing because that can end in a nightmare and give you more pain than needed.

google.com

Anything that helps your veins could be very good today and if possible don’t have any operations or surgical procedures during Moon in Aquarius on your ankles or your veins.

google.com

The days, even in summer tend to be little bit cooler than on others, so pack in the extra pair of socks, jumper or jacket, especially in the evening.

Aquarius Moon Phase are good days to give your body some extra good fats, such as Avocado, Olive Oil, any nut oils (unless you are allergic). Your body absorbs these better than on other days.

by healthynaturalliving.com

Essential oils applied to your body will be absorbed more easily and can be of great benefit. Especially if you find yourself in an over thinking mood or you are mentally burning out.

Moonphase in Capricorn – Making long term plans

Did you know that the moon does play a significant role in influencing the energies of our every day activities?

In addition to that the moon also influences the weather as well as highlights the sensitivity of certain body parts while passing through the zodiac. Dependent on the Moon phase and which Zodiac the moon passes during its approx.  28 day cycle, the areas in our bodies can be more painful but also benefit of better results with certain treatments.

by public domain

If you do things that do stretch, challenge or harm a certain part of your body while the moon passes through the zodiac and highlights their sensitivity, these body parts will suffer more than on other days.

Many people also know about the importance of the moonphase regarding appointments and surgery.

Therefore these people do plan intune with the moon calendar and relate to its wisdom for advise.

For example, on days when the Moon passes through Capricorn we should not undergo a knee or joint operation. Of course emergency operations do belong to a higher law and should not to be avoided.

by cnn.com

Living by the moon, its cycles and understanding the transition it makes through the zodiac can help us to treat illness better. It can assist in changing our diet accordingly and will help us to understand when to arrange certain activities.

Living in harmony with the universal movements like the cycle of the moon, will help in providing help, assistance and support for a better life and overall well-being.

Moon passes through Capricorn

When the moon passes through Capricorn our thinking becomes very clear and sharp. We will be less emotional and easily get things done, which we have procrastinating for far too long.

Moon in Capricorn days are great to realistically reflect on a certain project, a situation but even better to sit down and make a plan. On these days our sense for work and commitment will be highlighted and we should definitely make use of it. Everything that has to do with the law, the taxes or other legal stuff will get done on these days more easily. Or better to say you will have the patient to get these kind of things done more effortlessley.

by entrepreneur.com

It is a great day to see your accountant and get your numbers right. Any decision that we make today tend to be grounded in a solid foundation and should last. Everything that requires logic and a focused mind is brilliant to get done today.

Capricorn is a very ambitious and hard-working sign and aims for the top of the tops. If we take the approach of Capricorn seriously,  we will find ourselves walking slowly but steady. We do know and accept that we need to take one step at a time and can’t just rush to the finish line because we it feels like to.

Capricorn is of caring nature and is concerned about the benefit of others, especially the own family and friends. If you need to borrow money of someone, do it on a Capricorn in Moon day and best is to ask a Capricorn, they more than likely will give it to you. After they have checked  the details about your plan to pay it back.

Capricorns need to know and they like to be in control. Rarely you will see people having an emotional outburtst or tend to be too emotional during Capricorn in Moon days. The energy is solid, grounded and very focused, make use of it.

by youtube.com

It maybe is not the best day to speak about relationship problems or expect another person to be overly emotional. Not the best of days to ask for more romance in your life. Saying that, Capricorn has a very passionate side which can be brought to the surface, if he/she can get his head off work.

Health:

The moon passes through the Zodiac in approx 28 days of time. During this period it highlights certain body parts and makes them more vulnerable. To know that you should not go hiking or skiing on a Capricorn in Moon day will safe you maybe from some serious Knee and Joint injury.

The knees and joints are very sensitive on Capricorn Moon days and we should give them a relaxing time rather than straining them too much.

by philgoughhealthandfitness.com

You should also if possible avoid any knee or joint surgery, unless its an emergency. There are far more better days to get things like that done.

Capricorn is also associated with the skin and these Moon in Capricorn days are more than beneficial to see your dermatologist if you got problems. A visit to the Beautician to treat your skin and get is cleansed will pay off, more than on any other days of the moon cycle.

by weedstream.com

Stiffness in knees or joints should be treated with movements like Tai Chi, Yoga or swimming. Arthritis can be more painful during  Moon Phase in Capricorn, but also offers a more powerful healing opportunity.

Natural remedies such as Ginger, Boswellia, Green Tea or Eucalyptus could be beneficial. But to be right sure about that its better to see a herbalist and get expert advice on that.

Good advice for the day:

Avoid any sudden or quick activities and movements. Focus on a project for which you need a long-term plan. Open a savings account, plan some financial investment, speak to your accountant or banker. Don’t go hiking or cycling. Take it easy and allow yourself to take one step at a time.

Moonphase in Pisces – when we feel too much

The moon in Pisces days are normally very relaxing and smooth going days. People will think and act far more selflessly than on other days and show more compassion. These days are an ideal to actively listen to what the other has to say without judgement and without giving that good advice. The Pisces energy is a very dreamy energy and so soft and gentle in its nature that we easily drift away into other realms. The spheres of magic, illusion and fantasy are opening their doors to all those brave enough to walk through them. We might feel our psychic abilities heightened and the longing to connect with others and life on a deeper level than the normal.

ted.com

Everything that is out there, and hard to grasp seems to be very fascinating and adorable. We wonder, what lies beyond and we are ready to find out.

These days are perfect to take some time for yourself and do some daydreaming. Different than making concrete plans like Virgos or Capricorn would do we are now into the no boundary state. We just want to play around with what is possible and not worry about all that could go wrong. Pisces in moon days hold the potential of accumulating of ideas and visions, supernatural experiences and others but definitely not good days for making long lasting commitments. Too easily we would say yes to something today that we later might regret because there are no boundaries, there is no self today. These days is all about floating along rather than getting things done.

Staying home with a good book, some chocolate and a nice cup of tea would be a perfect Pisces moon day. Watch a movie, have nice food and spend some quality time with your partner, you will not regret the openness and all that comes with it.

Our sensitivity is very much stimulated and we should stay away from anything that could bring us out of balance. Pisces love their peace and quiet and they need more of that than other star signs. Not clearly knowing where the path leads the Pisces moon days invite us to try new ways and experiment with what else is possible but more in our minds than in practical reality. Its not a time to make a promise nor to sign a contract or an agreement. We might experience some confusion and should put things off that would need our focus or clarity of mind.

huffingtonpost.com

Pisces in Moon days are for the dreamers and the idealist. Those who dream the world into shape when no one is watching.

These days might also shine a light on our insecurities and low self-esteem because Pisces just feel too much. They often have abundance of compassion and caring thoughts for others but for themselves they tend not to spend enough time. It is important on these days to return to ourselves with the help of spiritual practices such as yoga, meditation, tai chi, or swimming.

al jumuha magazine

A walk in nature, on the beach or near water is also very good and brings the influence of these days even closer into our energy field.

We will need to try to keep positive and not to get stuck in depression or the overwhelming feeling that we are unable to change the world. One step at a time would be a good advice for Pisces in moon days, so we can realisticly achieve our goals. When the moon passes through Pisces we might also in need of extra encouragement or support as subconscious feelings and thoughts might find its way to the surface. It is a great day to arrange an appointment with a therapist that can help us to find deeper layers of ourselves and how to deal with them. We are open and receptive and want to uncover all that is hidden deep within ourselves, if we can find assistance or guidance to do that this definitely would be very helpful.

Nick Kerry.com

It is a brilliant day to seek out some advice from a psychic or a healer because all these things are positive supported by the Pisces energy. Be creative, listen to music, explore the unknown and try something new. It is a great day to let yourself go, spend the day in bed or in a retreat. Let go of boundaries and experience yourself in a state of oneness with the world. Trance dance and any other kind of ecstatic expression can be very beneficial these days. Pisces in moon makes us long for more to see beyond the ordinary and let go of this earthly suffering.

Pisces are also often associated with addiction and all the problems that do come with it. From Co-dependency but also the intoxication of the body and its side-effects. On pisces moon days we need to be mindful not to end up in a place where we didn’t want to be – because there are no boundaries and going with the flow is so much more fun. Drug addiction and comfort eating can be an expression of Pisces energy but also these days offer the opportunity to exactly do some great work exactly on these problems.

When the moon passes through Pisces it is very advice able not to drink or smoke too much. Because of the sensitive energy we will experience everything more intense as usual which can have fatal results.

The Pisces are ruling the feet in our physical body and we should spend extra attention to these areas during Pisces days. A nice reflexology, a foot bath or seeing a podologist is very beneficial and can bring a lot of good.

The feet are on of the most sensitive areas in the whole body even many people won’t believe that. All the meridians of the whole body are coming down to the feet where they find their final destination. This is also why reflexology is so beneficial because it can help with all the inner organs and its problems.

Pisces Moon Days are great days to find some form of creative expression like singing, drawing or painting, cooking or just listening to music. If you are gifted in writing, than get your pen and paper ready and try to write some poetry.

What ever you do today, it is important that you are gentle with yourself. Take more time for a task then normal and do it in your own pace. Don’t allow a fixed schedule or anything or pressure to interfere in your day and try to make enough time and space for yourself to retreat. An Epsom Salt bath can work wonders on Pisces moon days and helps the body to detox. Drink plenty of water and be mindful to take a good rest during the day.

discovery magazine.com

Withdraw into your own world if you want to and make space for some subconscious work. Stay away from any toxins if possible and if you do take medication or smoke, especially during Pisces Moon days it would be beneficial to reduce the daily intake because everything has a bigger impact or influence today.

Try to take it easy, if you are emotional than allow your emotions to come and go. Don’t force or overthink too much as these days lead to heightened sensitivity and it can happen that we feel more than we normally do. It also indicates that we might feel more of what others go through and can easily mix it up thinking it would be our own feelings.

Pisces by Franco Santoro

Within the cycle of the year, Pisces is crucial for it represents the culmination of the gestation of any intent or process set in motion at any time in the past, including at birth.

It is a very delicate period, in which new talents and gifts take solid shape and prepare for their outer emergence, yet in a context where we may still be unable to acknowledge and see what is actually emerging.

pic by 8tracks.com

This requires focus, care and alertness so as to embrace the opportunity of giving fruitful conscious birth to what truly aligns with our authentic potential, including the current planetary transformational shift. Each one of us is dealing with a specific element in this wider process of delivery. Here I want to underline that these elements gain considerable clarity, perspective and definition when they move from our personal limbo out into the collective. We can become truly aware of our emerging gifts and talents when we allow them to be visible and acknowledgeable by others, instead of breeding them in isolation.

After many years of working shamanically with people I have realised that the majority of individuals are unable to identify their own talents and often even regard them as negative or harmful. Hence they may continue to bury them for ages, unless they accidentally or forcefully happen to disclose them and receive positive feedback from others.

pinterest.com

Hence, when you notice something beautiful in the people you meet, even when it is so obvious and you feel it may appear stupid to point it out, well, please be honest and appreciate them anyway. What is obvious for you may not be obvious at all for the person involved.

Pisces is a huge melting pot, thriving on connections and all forms of blending, inviting us to surrender to the multidimensional ocean of life and death, sharing who we are and receiving the sharing of others, in an ongoing process of giving and receiving, which eventually loses sight of the outdated difference between subject and object, ecstatically proclaiming the unexpurgated and immaculate wholeness of our nature. Deep breath…

Among all the signs of the zodiac, Pisces is the one closest to the experience of multidimensional realities. Placed in the last stage of the zodiacal path, it represents all potential peaks in human consciousness. Here the zodiac circle reaches its final stage and can either face a quantum leap, moving into a brand new definition, or get back to sector one (Aries), repeating the same cycle all over again.

vexingquestions.wordpress.com

Pisces holds the key to the forbidden threshold of the zodiac, the one that allows the shift into the multidimensional realm, the movement into the spiralling cycle and the release of the karmic wheel. Hence, during the period of Pisces, it is easy to experience confrontations with threshold situations, glimpses of alternative lives and parallel universes, together with feelings of bewilderment, confusion or fear, as they are perceived by our ordinary identities.

Alignment with the essence of Pisces bestows the capacity to unveil multidimensional portals or itineraries. This is possible or easier when blocks and grievances have been effectively released through journeys in the preceding signs. When this is not the case, Pisces may become an excruciating vortex of hallucinations and turmoil.

youtube.com

Pisces includes the whole spectrum of identities we employ to voyage in the intricate landscape of our multidimensional self. Hence in Pisces resides the possibility of either unveiling their common source or preserving their separation.

pic by deviantart.com

Pisces has a close association with Dionysus, also known as Bacchus, the god of ecstasy, trance and dance. Similarly to Pisces, its origins and nature are confused and assorted.

According to one myth he is the son of Zeus and a mortal woman (Semele), who is killed by Zeus himself while Dionysus is still in her womb. Dionysus is then exceptionally born from the thigh of Zeus. Given that Hera was furious about this birth, Zeus entrusted Dionysus to the Hyades, a group of nymphs who disguised the god as a girl and raised him as an androgyne. In the Orphic mysteries Persephone, queen of the Underworld, is the mother of Dyonisus, whereas in the Elusinian mysteries it is Demeter.

All major references in the Dionysian mysteries are common features of shamanic initiation practices such as dismemberment, trance dance, communion rites, vision quest, sacred embrace, sacrifice, including the Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone. In the Dionysian and other mystery traditions, ordinary ethics, social status and comfort have never been an element of concern. Their primary focus is gaining multidimensional awareness, which often involves radically infringing ordinary taboos and conventions.

Moon phase in Gemini – let’s talk about absolutely everything

You will definitely feel when the moon passes through Gemini, it is a good day for all sorts of communication. On Gemini Moon Days we have a desire to share our ideas and thoughts with others and these others might have exactly the same desire to share their part of the story.

Communication is everything for a Gemini and he/she just can’t get enough of it. No matter if it is local gossip or some profound ideas as long as it is exciting and it is new.

Gemini Moon Days are perfect to meet new people and make new friends, at least we are open and receptive for the new. On these days it will be easy to write letters or do some sort of blogging that involves thinking and writing. These days are perfect to try new foods, travel to new places or indulge ourselves in a new book. Just don’t expect people to be too serious around these days and stay away from deep profound conversations as well as pouring your heart out.

by artofmanliness.com

Gemini is an air sign, it is always busy thinking and super quick in rushing from one idea to the next. This can often lead to the impressions that Geminis are superficial and lack a feeling for serious emotional expression.

Gemini Moon invites us to have fun and see life from another perspective. Letting go of old thought forms or how things supposed to be like we have in Moon phase in Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus. Its about exchanging ideas, sharing the same level of interest or just meet up with some old friends for a nice cup of tea and a bit of chatter.

by gigglepedia.com

These days are perfect for some joyful play and experiences when seriousness has caught us up in our lives. All Gemini wants is fun and as less responsibility as possible. So better not to sign any important contracts today and staying away from asking your partner to get married. That is too much for moon in Gemini when the mind is just out there.

On this day we might feel a bit disconnected from earth as we were floating around, this is the energy of the airy Gemini. Meditation will be more than difficult on these days as we might get the feeling that our minds will not shut up at all. Furthermore it is important that we physically move our energies in one way or the other. That helps to prevent the nervous tension and restlessness that can come with Moon phase in Gemini.

by giphy.com

Sports such as swimming, because of the soft movements in the water would be great. Running, jogging or cycling can be very beneficial as long as we keep an eye on the traffic. We easily get carried away on Gemini Moon days and easily forget our responsibilities towards others and ourselves. On the other hand these days can really help to loosen up a little bit and not taking life too seriously.

Gemini Moon days are perfect to spend more attention towards your shoulders because this is the area most affected by it. A good massage, with balms of herbs or tinctures can release today a lot of tension that has been stored in that area.

by groupon.ie

People who suffer from Gout or Arthritis maybe can feel it more than on other days. Any treatments that have to do with the nervous system, the shoulders, rheumatism are very beneficial on these days, the results will astonish you.

For better breathing we would recommend to learn some breathing techniques which will have a very positive effect.

Through the intellectual stimulation it can also happen that we suffer some mental burn out, or an overwhelming feeling of mental chatter. If so it would be helpful to have a rest during the day and stick to healthy pauses during work. Especially if the day is filled with meetings or intellectual conversation.

by twitter.com

The weather on these days is more than likely to change all of a sudden, therefore it is helpful to be prepared and bring the right clothes with you. We also might see on airy moon days that the sun is shining brighter or from a different angle than on other days. Even in winter that can mean that we should pack our sunglasses when driving a car.

by dreamstime.com

Our diet is also influenced by the moon phases therefore the body can more easily take on certain foods or has problems to digest some ingredients. For Gemini Moon Days the endocrine system is highlighted and stimulated therefore certain foods can help to bring positive changes into our lives.

by endocrinesystem.organsofthebody.com

Our endocrine system may often not appear as glamorous as the nervous system, but it actually plays a similar role in the body. The endocrine system is involved in the sending and receiving of information, using its own ways of packaging and delivering vital stimuli to cells, organs, and tissues. To make the best of Gemini Moon Days we should try to look out for the healthy fats in our foods and eat more of them.

Very beneficial are the healthy fats such as coconut oil, chia seeds, avocado, olive oil, sacha inchi, seaweed, sunflower seeds, spirulina, nuts, and pumpkin seeds. To help the endocrine system to do its job properly.

Gemini Moon Days are definitely not one of the slow moving, or boring days furthermore quick and sudden changes in mood and circumstances are too expect. If you go travelling you might want to check twice your train or flight times. On these days, patience is a virtue and not to be expected from anyone.

It is a great day to meet new people, exchange exciting ideas, come together as like minded people and do a lot of things that are fun and joyful. No routines or strict rules will apply on these days and we should try to go with the flow rather than wanting things to be the way we want them. Letting go and letting loose might be the best form to describe this idea. Communication will increase which could lean to a lot of phone calls or text messages. If it all gets too much, just turn the phone off and go out and play in nature!

What to expect from February 2018 in Chinese Astrology

When the wood-tiger meets the earth-dog

The water-ox retires and with him the fire-rooster. So we are not only at the beginning of a new month but also at the beginning of a new year. The earth-dog wishes us a “Happy New Year” and takes up his reign on 03 February 2018, 21:28h GMT. With him he brings one of his allies, the wood-tiger, that will rule over the first month.

The tiger is a courageous, powerful, bold and highly vigorous creature that loves challenges. He is prepared to take risks and does not like to be held back neither by rules others have made nor by any kind of convention. This can make the tiger quite impulsive or even rebellious. He wants to be free to do as he pleases and act as he chooses. At least once during his life he will throw caution to the wind and go off and do the things he wants to do.

He is honest, courageous and
often a source of inspiration to others, he is very charismatic and has his own point of view on matters. Equipped with a strong will and determination he sets out to reach his goal proceeding very energetically. His enthusiasm with which he does what has to be done is clearly visible.
He can be patient as well as he can be spontaneous. While watching and observing what he might want we can admire him for his cautious endurance. But when he knows what he wants, all of the sudden he jumps in, completely committing himself to having it, wasting no thoughts on possible consequences.

The tiger has a restless nature which includes an adventurous mind. This makes him a busy bee that does not stay in the same place for long. His enthusiasm with which he starts a project can soon deteriorate if something comes up that is more appealing. The tiger could be more successful if he would think things through thoroughly before he takes action.

The wood-tiger in particular is of a pleasant and friendly nature. His good sense of humour is something we can all enjoy. Not being as independent as his ‘cousins’ it is a pleasure to work side by side with him. However, his restless nature gets him easily distracted.
He is very popular and can enjoys the company of a large number of friends. They all keep him busy and see to it that even is social life is never boring.

In times when both, tiger and dog, rule over us we should spend as much time as possible with those who are dear to us. Shared trips, shared pursuits lead to shared pleasure. When new opportunities present themselves we should be quick to take them. Most of the time we can really benefit from what comes up at short notice. If we are able to keep our private life and our work in balance we will be on the winning side of the month that is ruled by two allies.

Time to find out what the signs of the zodiac are going to encounter when dog and tiger are in charge:

Tiger(*) (1902, 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010):
You
can really draw on unlimited resources. There will only be little what cannot be achieved. In private life as well as in business life all signs point to success and letting visions become reality. Keep yourself from overspending.

Rabbit(*) (1903, 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011):
G
et your share of the big cake. But to be cautious at all times and make sure not to act
recklessly. The tiger’s explosive nature can have such effect on the rabbit’s peaceful nature. Let your friend, the dog, guide you.

Dragon(*) (1904, 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012):
The month will come up with a lot of activities, changes, volatile relationships. Keep your life balanced between fun, social events, new opportunities and worries, anger about plans obstructed by others, or any stressful situation.

Snake(*) (1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013):
You won’t be able to pull all the strings, most of the time difficulties and calamities may result from the actions of others. It is utterly important to know who you can trust. Do not start anything without a plan B.

Horse(*) (1906, 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014):
Hard work really pays off. Keeping a low profile is definitely not what is called for this month. Your allies, the tiger and the dog, can support you best when and where others can see you. You are definitely on the sunny side of the month.

Goat(*) (1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015):
Enjoy your journeys wherever they may take you. There will be a lot of movement, there will be a lot of moving experiences. Be focused and disciplined and have a realistic view on matters. Watch out or the new month will become more expensive than it should.

Monkey(*) (1908, 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016):
Being safe is still better than being sorry. Who is in a hurry should make a detour. It helps to economise your own strength. Keep a low profile as long as your opponent, the tiger, rules the month.

Rooster(*) (1909, 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017):
Exciting changes may happen. It is up to you to appreciate them as ‘good’ or curse them as ‘bad’. Think before you act. Making the wrong move is only one way of asking for trouble. Sobriety and inner peace make all the difference.

Dog(*) (1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018):
The omens are favourable, all signs point to success. Tailwinds give you the right momentum to accomplish many things successfully. No sweet without sweat, mind you. But it’ll be worth it.

Pig(*) (1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007):
Exciting times are forseen, some may be challenging, some enthralling. New opportunities lead to advancement, locally and further afield. Do not overspend and be very cautious in all financial matters.

Rat(*) (1900, 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008):
Some events might be irritating or confusing for you. If “Plan A” does not work . . the alphabet has many more letters to offer. Practise the secret art of common sense, choke back your anger and the month will be on your side.

Ox(*) (1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009):
The
month will be very rich in variety. Being prepared will not prevent things from happening, it will help you getting the most out of things that happen. Feel and obey the obligation to keep your balance. If you manage you can have a promising time.

As usual, we all should keep in mind that there are a few days on which we should not do important things.

When it comes to long-ranged projects they should not be started on 05 February 2018, not on 17 February 2018 and not on 01 March 2018. Regarding short-ranged projects we have to step back on 09 February 2018 and on 21 February 2018.

May we act in time, may we find the right balance in everything.

(*) for this kind of analysis we work with the solar calendar. With a satisfying accuracy we can say that all years start on 04 February. This means that e.g. a person born on 31 January 1983 is born in the year of the dog as the year of the pig starts on 04 February 1983. In consultations I certainly work with the exact dates and times.

Capricorn by Franco Santoro

pic by healingstars.com

The sign Capricorn is rather controversial and complex as it represents the doorway into spirit and the relinquishment of the separate illusion of duality. The entrance of the Sun in Capricorn also coincides with the Winter Solstice, which is both the peak of darkness and the emergence of Light, the birthday of the Invincible Sun (click here for details).

The Tibetan Master, Djwhal Khul, considers Capricorn as the most mysterious of the twelve and a very difficult one to define.“Even the symbol of the sign has never been correctly drawn, we are told, because its correct delineation would produce an inflow of force that would be undesirable; also this symbol is sometimes called the <signature of God>“.

At first sight the glyph suggests the form of a leaping mountain goat and the typical tortuousness of the sign. Such arcane nature makes Capricorn susceptible of major projections and misunderstandings, so that it is often seen as scapegoat and also as one of the less popular sign of the Zodiac (together with Virgo and Scorpio).

pic by hindivarta.com

The seasonal period of Capricorn coincides with the arrival of the winter sleep and the quietness that facilitates inner work and planning for the next seasons to come. It is the phase when trees are like skeletons and the Earth appears naked, although in its depth the seeds are at work aiming at a remote as well as certain goal. From a spiritual perspective this is indeed the time of the highest flowering as the seeds of Aries reach here the end of their nine months’ labour.

This sign starts with the winter solstice, also called Sol Invictus and the Gate of Heaven. According to some esoteric traditions there are two major gates: the Gate of Cancer (gate of men), which leads into the physical dimension of separation and illusory perceptions of this planet, and the Gate of Capricorn (gate of heaven), the one leading to the spiritual kingdom of unity. This can be passed once the identification with the ego personality is over.

It is during the darkest moment of life that enlightening experiences can take place as well as the possibility to move to another level. Summer is apparently the most abundant, luminous and happy time of the year. Actually this is only what the physical body perceives. Winter is a time of coldness, darkness, introversion, withdrawal. Physical energy is at its lowest and this weakens the ego which thrives on the available exuberance of matter. It is in this context that spiritual energy may easily reach its peak.

It is part of the awareness of many esoteric traditions that darkness, depression, grievances and fear heralds the arrival of light, love and joy. When the Sun enters Capricorn it reaches its lower position in the northern hemisphere horizon, the Winter Solstice, and this also starts the solar cycle of ascension.

Encountering Astroshamanism by Franco Santoro

The first of two pieces on astroshamanism, a type of shamanism related to astrology.

By Franco Santoro

I often like to see this world as a place where we come to find out who we are. We continue to come until we are willing to accept and release what we assume to be and who we truly are. To be alive, without knowing who I am, is a bit like being dead, since living involves being aware of whom is indeed living.

lionsroar.com

Ignorance and denial about who I am does not change the nature of my true identity, but it does split the mind into two parts – one that knows the truth and the other that does not know or denies it. And it is this split that astroshamanism, along with many other paths, is drawn to address and cure.

Astroshamanism identifies a form of spiritual healing based on the integration of shamanism with sacred astrology, ancient mystery teachings and more traditional religious paths. Astroshamanism is merely a term that allows me to classify this work, yet what counts is its content.

pic by pinterest.com

Central in this work is the ongoing release of conditioned ideas regarding who we believe ourselves to be. This release gives access to an area of unknowing, where we can unveil a direct experience of our nature. Most shamans and seekers concur that this process involves letting go of our perception of the separated self. This separation appears to be the ultimate cause of human sufferance, so we support the reawakening of our original united self, which many religious cultures describe as God.

For many people the term “God” has lost interest and in some cases it even produces strong resistance. In certain situations it is awkward to mention “God,” since this can easily give wrong impressions and cause prejudices. This is probably because some concepts of God trigger fear, guilt, and judgment. “God” is merely a term, which can take other names and forms, and even no name or form at all. What counts here is the direct experience of God, and of our true nature devoid of any assumption.

I believe that what most people on a spiritual quest seek today are not mere formalities, doctrines or creeds, but paths of direct experience. They search for a first-hand knowledge of their true self, or a direct encounter and communion with God. This is what shamanic work can offer and it is also the authentic essence of what most spiritual traditions pursue.

Journeying through the unseen

In his second article on astroshamanism Franco Santoro tells how the zodiac can be used…

By Franco Santoro

Astroshamanism provides a map and tools for journeying through the path of life in search of Truth. This is acted out by using a strategic cosmology based on 12 sectors. The sectors are associated with the astrological signs when used as representations of the fragmented parts of our nature.

pic by pinterest.com

The 12 sectors portray the entire range of human potentials and possibilities that the astroshamanic seeker accepts to acknowledge, explore and integrate in their original unity. They are pathways of deep understanding about all the features in life. They include the highest and the lowest forms, and their aim is to teach us how to express them at their best.

In astroshamanism the zodiac is not used for horoscope readings or other forms of interpretation, but is explored through pragmatic healing actions and spiritual practices aimed at providing a direct experience and tangible results.

Astrology is probably the oldest form of symbolic language and shamanism is the most ancient method of healing. The distinctive feature of shamans is represented by their familiarity with states of consciousness that allows them to explore the spiritual dimension of reality and to help their community, themselves and their planet. To face these journeys, shamans connect with healing guides, spirits, angels and ultimately God. The relationship with this unseen world is the chief distinctive feature of shamanic cultures and constitutes one of the main tasks of astroshamanism.

pic by astroshamanism.org

The connection with the unseen realms, far from being an evasion from everyday reality, is aimed at healing our visible world. I cannot see God or spirits with my physical eyes, but I can see them through other human beings and the environment, when I decide to lay my prejudices aside and meet them as they truly are. By unveiling their nature, God will be embodied in them and I will uncover their essence.

As I learn to acknowledge God through them, I will also learn to become aware of how God operates in me. In exploring the mystery of the unseen realms and God, or whatever name, we use to describe That.

pic by redbubble.com

What this work basically underlines is the healing function of forgiveness. Forgiveness is learning to perceive all relationships as a proof of our sacred original nature, rather than as sources of grievances. It is about letting go of the garbage I have projected on others, which in the end is the same garbage I have projected on myself.

Autumn Equinox Meditation by Franco Santoro

Please join us in celebrating the Autumn Equinox!

pic by leonwonderland.blogspot.com

This is an ideal time to come together to honour the balance of light and darkness. It is a time of release, transformation and renewal. Come and take time to clear and bless the past, allowing it to become fertilising compost for your highest wishes. For more information on the Autumn Equinox click here.

This is a distant healing open event occurring wherever you are in the world. It is also a celebration held in specific locations by groups of individuals, who you can physically join. Everybody who feels drawn can participate. Whether you take part on your own or with other people, the aim is to be both with yourself and others, while connecting with the deepest source of your being and Spirit, All That Is, God, no matter how you call That according to your spiritual beliefs and experience.

The event can take place at any time from 21 to 23 September 2017.  The celebration can last a minimum of 20 minutes.

The Autumn Equinox is the time when the Sun passes from the northern to the southern hemisphere, making night and day of almost equal length all over the planet.

In the northern hemisphere Autumn identifies the fall and completion of an old cycle. It is the moment in which the world or the environment that has been familiar to you, begins to fade away until it eventually disappears. The luminosity and heat of summer gradually dissolves and gives way to the time of increasing darkness.

This is a most intense moment of the yearly journey full of abundant blessings of transmutation. The leading challenge in autumn is to learn to die well to what no longer serves and be open to receive what truly supports your true intention and purpose in life.

Relevant questions here are: “what is there in my life that wants or needs to die? What ways of being in the world do not serve my current Intent and all that I am discovering through my inner work? What no longer serves me, my loving companions, the community where I live, the planet and the universe?”

pic by earthheal.com

Please find below some guidelines describing an example of an Autumn Equinox Celebration, which can be used if you are alone or with others, and do not know what to do.

Basic suggestions for an Autumn Meditation:

Guidelines:

In this Equinox Celebration participants come together in silent communion to promote an Intention of Light, Healing, Love, and Alignment with the Web of Life, releasing grievances and opening up to the presence of Spirit, as they understand That. The aim is to support healing and love at all levels, for you, the environment and all beings, including those abiding in other realms.

1) Stand relaxed with the spine straight, feet flat on the floor, facing West. Focus on your breath and connect with the space around you, the emptiness surfacing the edges of your body. Sense the whole environment and its void and fullness, allowing the void and fullness of the environment to join other environments, encompassing those of all the participants in this celebration around the world.

2) Place your awareness on both your right and left hand, as you keep being aware of your breath and the environment that surrounds you. while you allow the awareness of your hands and environment to progressively expand throughout all your body.

3) Consider all the luminous experiences you have had since the Spring Equinox, and express gratitude for them. Acknowledge your intentions, what provides joy, love and anything that you wish for yourself and others, and allow this to be held through the awareness of your right hand.

4) Let your individual intentions connect with all other luminous intentions, no matter how different they are, allowing each one of them to be part of the same Light and web of life. Connect with a luminous parallel universe, a Land of Light, where everything you wish is fully available for you and everyone.

5) Direct the awareness of your right hand, its Light and the related intentions to move gradually through your arms reaching the point at the centre of your chest, the Heart level and bridging the outer into the inner. Take some time to allow Spirit to operate.

6) Consider all the dark experiences you have had since the Spring Equinox, how you have coped with pain, stress and unpleasant situations and express compassion and forgiveness. Allow whoever and whatever in your present life is related with grievances or difficult issues to be held through the awareness of your left hand.

7) Allow these individual and collective grievances to connect with all types of grievance or issue, no matter how different they are, allowing each one of them to be part of the same Darkness and web of life.

8) Direct the awareness of your left hand and the related grievances to move gradually through your arms reaching the point at the centre of your chest, your Heart, and bridging the outer into the inner. Take some time to allow Spirit to operate.

9) Focus only on the centre point, the Heart, allowing your environment to be totally absorbed by it.

10) Be aware of your lower body (belly, genitals, legs, ankles, feet), including whatever is below, hidden, dark, till your reach the centre of the Earth, and connect it with your Heart.

11) Be aware of your upper body (throat, head), including whatever is above, luminous, up to the distant sky, to connect with your Heart.

12) Allow lower and higher, Darkness and Light, to be absorbed by the Heart, so that in the end only the Heart is there. Receive an unconditional blessing from the Heart.

13) Allow the outer to gradually emanate from the Heart and take the shape of your energised and renewed physical body and outer environment. Come back to ordinary awareness allowing the above process to continue for a few minutes on a more subtle level. Give yourself some time to fully return to ordinary consciousness, stretch, get up or walk around, drink some water, etc.

14) Acknowledge how you feel and what you experienced. Take notes about anything relevant for you. If you wish, share this on the Autumn Equinox event page.

The above process can last from 20 minutes to one hour.

Blessings, Franco Santoro

Chinese Astrology August 2017

When the earth-monkey meets the fire-rooster

With the new month a new season begins. The weather may not give us any clue but now autumn starts. Or to put it in more accurate terms: autumn starts when the fire-goat hands over responsibilities to the earth-monkey. This year this event takes place on 07 August 2017, 07:39h GMT.

The monkey in general is imaginative, inquisitive and loves to keep a watchful eye on everything that is going on around him. He is never shy to offer his own opinion on all matters or to sort out the problems of others. The meaning of the constellation of the letters ‘n’ and ‘o’ that spells ‘no’ is unknown to him.

He is very intelligent, well educated and always eager to learn new things. He is also a convincing speaker and enjoys being part of debates and heated discussions. He is very persuasive and has absolutely no trouble winning over people to his way of thinking. With that he is predestined to be in the PR-business, teaching or any activity that involves selling.

The earth-monkey in particular is a highly educated and a well read creature that can become quite distinguished in his chosen field of work. He is less extroverted than the other types of monkeys preferring quieter and more solid activities.
Blessed with an enquiring mind the earth-monkey can enjoy a great variety of interests. He is very good at dealing with financial matters and he is patient enough to gather wealth continuously and untiringly.

The calming influence he has on those who are around him is great and he is well liked and respected. His principles and moral standards are high, he is very much caring for others and generous to those who are not as fortunate as he is.

He does not open up easily and he is very careful in choosing people who he can trust or confide in.

There will be many demands on us this month. Before making any decisions we need to check exactly what is asked from us and what the implications might be. Whatever we are inclined to do we should make sure that nothing interferes with our homelife or prevents us from enjoying the rewards for work well done.
It is highly recommended that we spend quality time with family and friends and to follow our own needs.

Now let’s see what the next month will be like for all the signs of the zodiac:

Monkey(*) (1908, 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016):
Enjoy and rejoice, a fantastic month is here to come. It is an excellent time to start new endeavours. Success in business matters is foreseen as well as tremendous progress in many other fields. You can really benefit from this month.

Rooster(*) (1909, 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005):
It is now your turn to put your world in order. You’d better devote your time to this task This will help you to proceed courageously and puts you in the position to deal effectively with unforseen difficulties cast upon you by the ruling signs. A more sober and practical approach is the best approach when you want to be successful.

Dog(*) (1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006):
Expect a lot of activities and involvement in many fields. Projects may not run the way you planned but that should not prevent you from being enthusiastic. Keep your sense of humour if you have to begin certain things anew. Look at it as a good opportunity for a fresh start.

Pig(*) (1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007):
Social gatherings and affairs are very exciting. Look forward to them. However, do not let that good mood misguide you to become the victim of financial imposters with their ill-fated investment schemes. Guard your assets, be careful and mindful.

Rat(*) (1900, 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008):
An excitingly funny month lies ahead that will present you with a lot of inspiring surprises. Your close ally, the monkey, sees to that. Hard work from the past bears fruit. Enjoy a very harmonious time with your family.

Ox(*) (1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009):
Do things your way and you will be rewarded. Stay true to yourself, stay true to your values, stay true to your convictions when facing adversities. The influence of the wily monkey may bring some discomfort.

Tiger(*) (1902, 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010):
It will not be the most pleasant month that lies ahead. Unfortunately the number of those who can make life unnecessarily difficult has increased. Choke back your anger. Smile and think of doing something naughty, laugh when you’ve already done it.

Rabbit(*) (1903, 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011):
Mind your own business and things may run smoother than you can possibly hope for. Expand your business slowly and continuously. Do not make risky investments, do not let your bank statement be a visual record of bad decisions.

Dragon(*) (1904, 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012):
Fame and fortune are in store for you. Your close friend, the monkey, takes good care of that. Do not miss opportunities because they are dressed in overalls and look like work (Thomas A. Edison). Avoid quarrels and legal entanglements.

Snake(*) (1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013):
May you be guided by your innate wisdom and intuition. These are your guarantees for winning over the wild turmoil and extremes the monkey produces. New friends will be valuable in times to come.

Horse(*) (1906, 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014):
Sudden gains and wild luck are the results of the monkey’s influence. The more you give the more you will receive. Travelling can be beneficial especially but only when you keep your eyes on the road. Be very careful when handling sharp metal objects or tools.

Goat(*) (1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015):
Life is like a rollercoaster, it has ups and it has downs. But it’s your choice to scream or enjoy the ride. Do not get swept away by big plans and wild monkey schemes. To remain calm and to remain neutral is the best piece of advice you can get this month.

As it is with all months again there are certain days on which we should not do things of importance.

Short-ranged projects should be started on 07 August 2017, 19 August 2017 and 31 August 2017, long-ranged projects not on 08 August 2017, 20 August 2017 and 01 September 2017.

May we make the right decisions. Not only this month.
