No on is born Self-Confident even some people tend to believe that. As if self-confidence is a gift that was given to a few by birth and others have to work hard for it, some of us even a life time. This believe is a myth and has created a lot of confusion and misunderstanding within our personal expression of ourselves.

After years of self-development and also walking and exploring the spiritual path, I honestly can say: No one was born Self-Confident furthermore that the growth of self -confidence has different stages we go through. There are internal and external factors that do play a very important role in building self-confidence by understanding this we gain a lot of insights and can change accordingly.

There are many studies and even more opinions about the subject of self-confidence and many of them teach us a totally wrong picture what it actually is.

The concept of self-confidence is commonly used as self-assurance in one’s personal judgement, ability, power, etc. One increases self-confidence from experiences of having mastered particular activities. It is a positive belief that in the future one can generally accomplish what one wishes to do. Self-confidence is not the same as self-esteem, which is an evaluation of one’s own worth, whereas self-confidence is more specifically trust in one’s ability to achieve some goal…” – Wikipedia 2018

I wonder how many people do truly know what self-confidence is, how many of us do still believe the media’s opinion that confidence can only increase if we buy this or that. Only if we possess certain things or follow a certain method we will finally gain self-confidence and can achieve anything we want in life.

Internal and external factors that shape Self-confidence

There are many different factors which play an important role in building self-confidence early in our lives. Most important probably will be our parents and how much they encouraged, supported and loved us. This relationship is the foundation for the rest of our lives and determines very much on how we see ourselves. The more we grow up the more we come in touch with other external factors such as teachers and other children at school. The teachers opinion about our performance in school has a huge impact on our self-confidence and can break us. In that period of time we also confronted with media’s idea about our self-image and especially as a teenager we are so vulnerable to the opinions of others. These early external factors play an important role in our person development of self-confidence and can have an impact we will feel a life time. Unless we become conscious and aware enough or shall I say brave enough to heal and break through childhood or early teenage trauma.

The role of our parents towards Self-confidence

While we are children, we are totally dependent on our parents and what they make us belief about ourselves. Some people say that children have developed a sense of self-esteem by the age of 5. Dependent on our parents and how much they supported us during the early ages we will grow rich or poor in self-confidence. If rejection, abuse or the inability to express love towards children has taken place, the child will suffer a lot more than other children. In addition to that its not only what our parents do think about us but also what the parents do think about themselves. How can a parent give a good idea of self-confidence if its not present within themselves? The parents inability to love themselves or being proud of their own achievements will also be reflected towards the child. Especially that happens if the child in its innocent nature strives to be better and learn new things. If the parents then hold on to their own lack of self-confidence it doesn’t allow the child to make new experiences that help him/her grow. This is often how problems and belief systems are passed down from one generation to the other, to the point where one family member finally breaks free by seeking actively help regarding these problems.

Performance and the fail of the education system to offer true support

Performance is everything, parents are still believing that only if a child performs good in school it will make it in life. Teachers thinking the same, but for them it is more important if the child does perform good in a certain subject. Because for the teacher it is a sign that he/she is doing the right job. I wonder how many teacher actually do ask themselves if what they teach is actually needed in life? In addition to that I want to raise the question how many children nearly break under the expectations of parents and teachers to perform rather than be themselves? We still do believe only if we achieve something with the highest scores it would build up our self-confidence, this is only half true.

Yes, achievement has something to do with building self-confidence but it can be an achievement in anything. Something we do like, something we do have a passion for, something we set our minds to and we achieved it with our own two hands or with support of others.

In schools and education the achievement mostly includes to repeat what has been said or to achieve the highest mark so we are able to get a better job in the future. As statistics have shown how many world class students are still out of work. On the other hand side how many famous or successful people are truly depressed?

It is a myth and we still go for the idea that happiness is found on the outside, based on this believe we run around a life time, continuously asking ourselves when it will finally come. The day we achieved to be content and at ease with ourselves?

Real Self-Confidence comes from within

Let me say again, self-confidence is not something we are born with but something that we gain throughout life. It is very important to understand the difference, furthermore it will help to build a solid foundation on which self-confidence finally can grow.

From a spiritual perspective the problem arises already with our birth. The moment when the spirit incarnates into a physical body and sets itself the challenge to experience the world through the eyes of its own. From the moment we are born we are totally dependant on our parents, or at least on our mothers. We need to be fed, looked after and told how to do things. Dependant on our parents this can be a tricky path and very much is up to them what they think is really important to us. But also what they think about themselves. Then we are forced into an education system that makes us believe that our performance on how to repeat what is told will get us what we need in life. Unable to understand ourselves, the world around us we do suffer from an early age from an alienation what life is really about.

Its not about how good you perform in life but what you gain from life. How good you learn to express yourself in many different ways in this life time. How brave you are to truly explore and be who you are. Furthermore how capable you are to deal with life difficulties without losing the belief in yourself. This often is not taught to us by our parents or in school. Media and news do as well fail in building a strong foundation for people to understand life of what it truly is.

In the last instance many people turn to spirituality around the age of mid 40’s. When we have lived through some difficulties in life, we might gone through childbirth, marriage, divorce, experienced loss, and death in one way or the other, we made it in a job or even lost it once. We suddenly realize that all this somehow made us stronger and more experienced at the same time we do feel more vulnerable. Feeling that life can hit you very unexpected and nothing much you can do about it. One day we are self-confident and we think we can achieve anything the next moment this conviction is gone with the wind. All that is left is the question what is next? And how we are going do deal with it?

Self-confidence is a process from self-exploration and experiences, how we deal with them and how open we are to change? Some people are maybe born with a stronger will to live, some people got a thicker skin than others. A few people know that they asking for assistance or help to deal with certain circumstances is not a crime but very necessary to outgrow old belief systems about the self. Others might turned bitter and given up on life. In all of us there is the potential for greatness and it is up to us what we are going to make of it.

How much can we accept that life is full of unexpected changes? How far can we push ourselves to strive to new heights? Can we forgive ourselves and others for making mistakes? When do we realize that self-confidence is not something that we are born with but something that needs to be trained, brought back into life once it was lost and maybe restored when it has been broken. Understanding what role our parents, teachers, others, the media and society played in shaping the belief in ourselves. It is a slowly process of getting to know yourself better, day by day. Sorting out what you want and what you don’t want, allowing your limitations and dreams to guide you. Realizing a setback is not the end and every day we got the chance to start all over again.

Why Anti-Depressants kill your soul by Julie Jurgan

Did you know that over 61 million Antidepressants outside of hospitals have been described alone in the UK in 2015?

More and more people seem to follow the mainstream opinion of taking chemical drugs to deal with depressions, anxiety and panic attacks. Without knowing what they really do to themselves and their soul. People need and want a quick solution for their discomfort and even doctors are not really helpful in pointing out the source of depressions to their patients. I truly believe if we come to understand what kind of depression we are suffering from and take a realistic view on what is wrong with the world, we will come to understand that depressions are mostly not-self made. Furthermore the most of diagnosed depressions do occur as a result of an outside influence we suffer from and feel we have no control of or a lack of power to change it.

Knowing the reason, its source we may come into a better understanding of ourselves and what it means to be depressive. But even most important we will understand that depression is not a condition that we need to live with as we can make certain steps towards its release. We also need to come to see that taking anti-depressant doesn’t solve the problem it only helps in coping.

The question now is, do we want to cope with life or do we want to live it? How much of our control do we want to hand out to others and where can we take our own responsibility? Antidepressant have major side-effects and apart from that they turn you into an emotional disconnected being. If we really want to work with depression we need to dive deep into the ocean of understanding of the self and make necessary adjustments. Honesty and authenticity are the key elements to find the source of depression and suffering.

Most important is that we do understand that our soul is the most trustworthy guide in our lives, telling us when something is right or wrong. Taking anti-depressant will take that natural guide away and will take you even deeper into nowhere land. A place that couldn’t be any further from your true self.

Social Expectation Depression

A very interesting expression of a phenomena and I truly believe that 90% of people who have been diagnosed with depression suffer from. It means that we are depressed because we feel that we don’t fit into society. Furthermore it means that we suffer because we can’t reach social expectations that have been put upon us.

These kind of depressions are a natural outcome of influence of mainstream media into our lives. These media especially TV creates an illusion of how the “good life” should look like. In addition to that happiness is the ultimate goal. Once we realized that we will never look like the people on TV or magazines, we will never be able to be happy all the time and we truly believe that possessions are what we really need to be happy – we will suffer tremendously.

The feeling of abandonment, unworthiness, self-doubts will find its way into our lives and feeds on all the illusionary ideas that are shown on TV. The increasing use of smart phones and social media doesn’t help with that. Of course we can be in touch with someone in seconds, but we can’t touch them. Means we lose our ability to be with people, to be touched by people and furthermore to really connect with people. We fear the opinion of others, our own vulnerability and boundaries.

We forget how to make time for ourselves as there is always someone reaching out to us or telling us what’s going on at the moment. Looking at Facebook and other social media we start comparing our lives with the lives of others. There is no more space that we allow ourselves to stay in – thinking and feeling that we miss out on something.

The best advice and the most important step for this kind of depression is, to cut back on watching TV and overwhelming yourself with social media and other distractions. Learn to meditate and come into the space within yourself. You will need to learn to work with your soul and have an honest look upon yourself. You have to learn to be with yourself and enjoy your own company only so you will get to know yourself better. The buddhist Metta Meditation ( try here) can be very helpful in terms of increasing self-love.

 

Work Pressure Depression

In the workplace that indicates a job we don’t like and just do because of the money. Maybe out of fear or doubts that we never ever will be able to do a job we love doing and make money with it.

In addition to that these kind of depressions are also created by our working ethics against our inner clock. Our over productive society has created a climax that is more than unnatural for our well-being. We spend too much time indoors, eat just on the go and spend more than 70% our wake-life at our workplace to cover our survival costs. We work as much in summer as we do in winter and in a full-time employment we get about 5 or 6 weeks holidays a year.

depressedHour after hour we stare into computers, take one job load after the next, try to deal with sickness of colleagues and more time pressure at work. It’s up to us to cope with the consequences of staff reduction at work, the increasing of deadlines and the constantly growing amount of pressure.

Not that this would be enough, we also hear about the changes in the big wide world, how they might affect our job security or our future lives.

No wonder you are fed up, tired, overwhelmed and stressed out. How should any normal human being deal with all these things? Especially things that lay outside of our control, things that we have no influence on.

So how can you deal with all this? Antidepressant may help you to stay were you are but they won’t make you happy. They will assist you in staying in a discomfort situation rather than changing it. You will need to face reality and realize that you might working in the wrong job, that you are overworked or you feel not appreciated.

If this is the case, first of all speak with someone about it. Someone you would definitely support your decision whatever that may be, someone who encourages you to do what feels right for you. You might want to seek a chat with your manager as well and let him/her know how you feeling at the moment. That might lead to less work pressure at least for a short period of time. At the end you will need to face the situation and might think about going self-employed or change jobs.

Yes that can be scary and very challenging at the beginning but you will need to develop inner strength to work through it. Speak to your local job centre you might get some support, reach out for some empowerment healing from an alternative healer or might seek some advice from a counselor.

Keep in mind that change is a necessary part of life and we mostly suffer because we deny the fact that we need to change too. You might want to develop a spiritual practice, go to yoga and meditation classes to learn to let go of your fears and doubts. Furthermore to feel the flow of life rushing through you and gain back your flexibility. Trust me, little steps of change make a huge difference and suddenly everything falls into place.

But you will need to overcome your need to control things and learn to let go of the illusion that life is only safe if we stay in the job we have.

Loss Depression

The loss Depression is one of the profoundest we can experience because they are somehow unchangeable. We might be able to change our jobs, leave our partners and remove ourselves from unpleasant situations. But we won’t be able to bring back a loved one who passed. The pain we experience through the grieving process is absolutely massive and can really bring us to the ground. Even years after the passing we can still find ourselves crumbling, crying and feeling so deeply hurt when we touch that empty space within our hearts. There is no remedy for a heart that suffers from a loss of a loved one.

Thoughts of not being able to go on, to cope with all that lies in front of us and the emptiness we drown deep into the valley of depression and hopelessness. Some of us may even experience suicidal tendencies themselves especially during the first few months. Everything is so raw, so open, so vulnerable.

Once again our heart has been cracked open and it hurts.

Some people might argue that anti-depressant would be a solution at least for the first few months but to be honest. No, I don’t think so. Antidepressant maybe make you feel that there would be no pain and that is an illusion. The pain will be there no matter what you do, suppressing it is not a solution. Especially help with pharmaceutical drugs is no solution at all. Furthermore it is very important to feel the pain and do whatever is important for you in this moment. Withdraw from the world if you want to, hide, cry, shout, be angry but let it out. Surround yourself with supportive friends and other loved ones but give yourself time. You don’t need to open up if you don’t want to. There are grieving telephone lines available such as the Samaritans (look here) which offer an open ear and support anonymously. You might also want to join a grieving group or take upon a task that helps you to express your loss. For this reason Art Therapy or writing a diary can be very helpful, but also dancing can be an embodiment for your pain.

Make sure that you nourish yourself during these periods of grieving, get a massage, have a hot bath, go for walks and do whatever you feel like doing.

Traumatic Experience Depressions

These kind of depressions mostly come from a past event we have experienced. A trauma we had to go trough and we are unable to release. This kind of depression mostly is chronic and will occur over a very long period of time, it can also be experienced in intervals. A traumatic experience depression definitely will need therapeutic assistance to be worked with. Antidepressant in this case will only suppress the symptoms but will never help to release its source, furthermore it will give the patient the feeling that he has to deal with this the whole of his/her life. There are other empowering alternative healing strategies available such as holistic therapies which can help to reduce the physical expression and do its best to release the symptoms on a material/physical level. A shamanic soul retrieval or shamanic healing can help to release the trauma from the persons energetic body and also assist the soul to heal itself.

But don’t get stuck in the thought that life has been tough on you and its never ever going to change. You will need to work yourself through the trauma and its expressions, the pain, the anger, the helplessness. A trauma might have changed you, but working with it can also transform you and turn a traumatic experience into a healing work. Sometimes we are confronted with certain situations not only that we gain strength from it once we overcame them but also to offer other people help and guidance with similar experiences.

There is always something to gain from any situation no matter how painful it was or is. Don’t give up on yourself and open up to outside help and support.

 

Existential Depression

It expresses itself in the hopelessness and helplessness of being a human placed on this earth. Confronted with our own mortality, through the loss of a loved one or other experiences to do with death, the question why we need to work for our survival, why we are the way we are and furthermore we question our purpose or meaning of life.

Normally these are quite normal expression and can be counted to a necessary feelings to deepen our connection with life. We can’t only live in happiness and pretend that we don’t have meaningful questions pressuring our hearts. We can’t deny the fact that life sometimes gives us a hard time and we do question ourselves or fear our own mortality. These days, sometimes maybe weeks of existential depression helps us to transform ourselves and reach a new level spiritually. Of course these times can be very intense in its feelings but normally we should be able to work through and know that we will come out at the other side of the tunnel with a different point of view on things.

Normally we try to suppress these times of discomfort with eating, drinking or other activities that distract us. But we can also use these times as powerful chances to grow into our own and reach a new level of understanding and inner strength.

How to manifest through Mercury Retrograde?

Today we are stepping into Mercury going Retrograde till the 19th of August (even the after phase will take a bit longer than that). This event marks something that is happening every year at least 3 or 4 times and generally nothing to worry about as such.

It doesn’t matter if you are into astrology or you don’t believe in something like that – you will feel the energetic shift. Allowing yourself to accept what Mercury Retrograde has to offer, will allow you to move more smoothly during this phase.

What is happening during Mecury Retrogade?

Generally speaking, Mercury does affect our “logical” brains in a way that we are asked to think twice because everything seems to be a bit diffuse. Mercury in Astrology is to be seen as the planet of every day-to-day expression and communication. When it goes Retrograde our ability to think logically, express ourselves openly and our overall communication might experience a slow down. Things we say might missunderstood by others and our logical minds are going into a more reflection mood. This phase is very important for our personal Soulevolution, to take things more slowly and check in with ourselves what actually is going on. It means that we should not rush into new things, sign contracts before reading them five times and allow ourselves to reflect and dwell on things before making decisions. In addition to that technology might slow down or break down as well as there might be issues regarding travelling to expect. But keep in mind, what you send out will come back to you. So stay positive and think you will manage, no matter what.!!!

 The law of attraction

Of course most of us have heard of the law of attraction and many of us working with it as well. Some of us might have had good results and others might not. There are thousands of books out there regarding this subject and all of them do bare some truth. But not one of them will tell you the real truth ( at least I haven’t found it yet)

Yes, our thoughts do have the power to attract things into our lives. No matter of negative or positive. This kind of thinking is thought to be a spiritual thing and not much attention was given towards that from “not so spiritual” people but that is slowly changing. More and more, science is finding its way into exploring how thoughts actually create reality and also how things, we give enough mental energy to, suddenly willingly or unwillingly do manifest in our lives. I am sure of that, that soon Quantumphysics will find the answer to this.

We know that if we imagine or focus enough on a certain thing we desire – it eventually come into our lives. Thoughts are nothing more than electromagnetic information we continously send out to the universe or the world. The more we put energy into our thoughts the more than likely they will eventually appear in some way or the other in our lives.

You can easily see this in your own life. Just think about what you actually truly believing about yourself and how the world around you will respond to this. For example if you don’t love yourself or respect yourself you will easily find people around you to do exactly this to you.They will disrespect you or bring you in situations that confirm what you thinking about yourself anyway.

Another example could be, if you truly believe that you deserve this or that, with no doubts, it suddenly appears in your life! So the more energy we put into our manifestation the more likely it is going to happen.

But there for sure there is a downfall to this and this is of course – ourselves. The power of our manifestation also very much depends on how we have mastered ourselves, not only mentally but also emotionally. If you want to manifest something and a few hours later you doubt it – you take away the energy you just put in.

In addition to that – how many times have you heard that you only need to think positive about something and it will happen. Have you ever tried to stay totally positive for even 2 days? Nearly impossible, as we are going through all sorts of emotions daily. Well there is more to it than just positive thinking to truly manifesting things into your life.

 The right timing for manifestation

It is manifesting at the right time! This will not only doube your power but you also use the forces of the universe to fuel your manifestation.

I do work very close with the #mooncycle to choose right timing to manifest every day things into my life. The moon cycle shows us when its time to attract things into our lives and when to let them go. The law of manifestation is based on the law of magnetism, nothing less and nothing more.

The moon has powerful magnetic forces that are visible and tangible in the world. On a personal level but also on a environmental level (tides, the weather etc).

So generally speaking if you would like to manifest things in your life or attract them do it in the first quarter and second quarter of the moon – leading up to Full Moon.

After that you can use the moons power to release things you don’t want anymore.

 Mercury Retrograde and Manifestation

I explained before how important the power of our own minds is to manifest things and circumstances in our life. We need to learn to control our minds through meditation and other excercise if we want to get more powerful.

Now coming into Mercury Retrograde Phase we will have problems to concentrate and use our full potential with our minds.

To find a way around this and still making the law of manifestation work for us more easily, I do recommend to go into deep meditation. Once we mastered the connection to the higher self, we gain access to another plane. We raise above our logical mind and are coming into the spheres of the higher mind. This can mean that we don’t know actually what we are manifesting as such, or better say we don’t write the rules for our manifestation. In this we sink into a state of surrendering to the universe, asking and knowing it will provide what we do need at the moment without us interfering.

For some of us that can be a real challenge as we tend to control everything in our lives. But this is an amazing opportunity to connect to some higher wisdom we normally wouldn’t be able to reach so easily. We might also take this chance of mercury retrograde to exactly explore higher realms by leaving the logical, everyday mind aside.

We all got the ability to manifest, to create our own reality and shape life. But we need to make the effort, put the work in and especially learn to master ourselves to be able to work with the true laws of the universe!

Why the moon report, not general astrology?

I do offer a weekly Moon Report Video on my Facebook Page (follow me and check it out here) in which I do talk about the moons influence during the coming up week.

Sometimes my viewers do send me some questions and I am determined to answer them in the best way known to me in that moment of time. You can also find these videos on my Facebook page and watch them at any time that is convenient for you.

I stopped uploading the videos to my Youtube Channel because it just takes too much time and work for me. I will try to write an article on each question that has been made so at least you can read them up.

This weeks question was: Why I do only talk about the moon and not about all the other planets?

There are several reasons for that.

1. The moon is the closest planet to earth and once even belonged to earth. We literally can see its impact when we think of the tides of the oceans. Furthermore we can see the moons influence also when we look at the weather.

2. The moons influence is feelable, certain body parts will be more sensitive than others on certain days.

3. The magnetic and gravitational forces of the moon are happening between the moon and the earth. In addition to that the moon folllows a cycle of 28.5 days around the earth, while other planets have a much longer cycle and therefore don’t always need to be considered in every day tasks. But maybe more in long term views, plans, events or overall life spans to see their influence shifting.

As we can see the moon is very relevant for our every day activities because its the closest planet to the earth as well as the fastest moving.

Moon in every day life:

The energetic qualities of the moons influence do change every 2 – 3 days when it passes in another zodiac sign.

Peoples behaviour and reactions (subconcsious) are predictable or be more than likely to be predictable. Bodily and physical functions are tangible influenced. Weather and tides are continously changing.

How to find the right medium/psychic?

I have been a medium and healer myself for quite a few years now and I really do love my work. The best thing in my work is that I am able to assist and guide people with my psychic abilities and my spiritual knowledge. It is really rewarding to see how peoples lives have changed after a Reading or a Healing Session.

Not one day is the same and so are not any of my clients are the same, they come to me with different concerns, issues and problems. Unfortunately I also hear again and again about other people working in the psychic/medium field and they do more harm than good. This gives the work of a genuine medium/psychic or healer a really bad name and degrades our honest and hard work to a very low level.

I do believe the problem in the work as a medium/psychic is that there are no standards as such which qualify you as a good or bad medium/psychic. Everyone can call themselves a medium or psychic without even having enough experience, qualifications or done the work on themselves.

Over the years I was lucky enough to work with and learn from some very great mediums. People who have been in the field for many years and also who are working to a very high standard. I have seen them working on platform and also in One-to-One Sessions as well as their courses and workshops when I was their translator. During those times I did learn a lot about what it means to be a good medium/psychic and a lot about myself. I also had a lot of readings from all sorts of mediums/psychics some of them are very well-known and some of the readings were really disappointing and a total waste of time and money.

If I had known what I know now, it would have saved me a lot of bad advice, a lot of time as well as a lot of money.

Based on my personal years of experience working as medium/psychic and healer I created this guide for you. It will highlight a few points that you should ask yourself before looking for a medium or psychic. Other points can help you to check if you found the right medium/psychic for you, so you get most out of your reading.

Questions to ask yourself before you start looking for a medium/psychic:

Ask yourself honestly, why you want to see a medium or psychic? What is your motivation? Are you just curious or you experiencing a crisis in your life and you want some further advice? You might have lost a loved one and you know that some mediums are able to give proof of survival after death, which can be very reassuring.

The answer to the above questions will lead you closer to what you are looking for. If you experience a difficult situation in your life and want some advice of course you can go and see a psychic.
Psychics are more focused on working with your energy, the energy of your soul or akashic records.

A spiritual medium in its classic sense, delivers proof for life after death rather than focusing too much on your personal energy in that present moment. The focus of spiritualist mediums is to give evidence of your loved one from the spiritual world and then to bring you a message (in churches) that would assist you on your way.

Unfortunately many people or even working mediums/psychics are not aware of the difference between mediumship and psychic work. This is often caused due the lack of qualification and standard in their work and dependent on the teachers they have learnt from.

Working on a psychic level is a totally different energy than working on a mediumistic level, but both of them are equally important or worth.

There are mediums who will ask why you contacted them and its okay to say that you have a certain problem or question (but don’t name the problem or question) that is the mediums/psychic job to find out. But say it might has to do with your life or you are in need to speak to someone who has passed over into the spiritual world.

Do you want to see a medium/psychic in person or would you be okay to do a Skype session?

Many people do prefer to see a medium or psychic in person rather than a Skype session and there is nothing wrong with that. But our modern technology offers some amazing opportunities we should not miss out.

In general for the medium it doesn’t matter if you sit in front of them in real life or on the other side of a computer screen. Energy doesn’t have any limitations nor boundaries and a reading can be as good as in when you meet in person. I do a lot of Skype readings for people all over the world but also in person and never felt that it wouldn’t work better the one way or the other.

Furthermore I do believe that if we only focus on a medium who lives close by we do limit ourselves and our opportunities to find the right medium for us. There is maybe a medium in Australia you really feel drawn to but you are based in Germany, so why not try a Skype session?

There are also areas around the world where there maybe not many mediums around, especially in some countries where mediums not really common. It doesn’t mean that you should limit yourself rather than opening up to new opportunities.

Hunting for the right medium/psychic

So here we go, you clarified what you expect from a reading if you are looking for a reading about yourself which is then psychic (Life Reading, Akashic Records Reading, Psychic Reading, Soul Reading).

Or you are looking to gain some proof for life after death and needed to hear from a loved one in the spirit world that would be a mediumistic reading. Now you can go out and look for the right medium for you.

1. Ask your friends for recommendations

Best and easiest way is to ask your friends if anybody has ever been to a medium/psychic and could recommend someone. Recommendations are direct experiences and always good to start with. But keeping in mind that not every medium/psychic resonates with the same person. It might was good for your friend but you think it is not the right medium/psychic for you. Trust that feeling and keep on looking.

2. Check the mediums/psychic website

Its important to do some research and best for that is online. You can use google for the start and type in medium/psychic whether in your area or somewhere else. Check out the websites you find and see if it resonates with you.

a) Does the mediums/psychics picture appeal to you?

b) Are there any testimonials or reviews on the website?

c) Does the medium/psychic explain the way it works or does it only talk about

itself and how great he/she is?

d) Are there any contact details to get in touch with the medium/psychic before

booking a reading?

e) Does the way the medium/psychic present itself resonate with you? Or is it

too spaced out?

3. Check the pricing

Often the websites don’t give away a lot of information on the pricing and that is totally fine. It often can mean that the medium/psychic only works with committed people who actually make the effort to contact them.
Or the medium/psychic wants to decide if she/he can work with you after speaking to you. It allows time to get to know each other before a session gets booked.

Unfortunately there is no real guidelines with the pricing, some really expensive mediums are totally crap and some others very good mediums don’t charge a lot. So you can’t say that expensive is always good or cheap is always bad.

Most of the well-known mediums just got a good marketing company but it doesn’t mean that they do extraordinary work. On the other hand side I truly believe that being a genuine medium/psychic is a very valuable work and hard work but many people don’t see it as such.

If you want quality and you set your intentions towards it, I am sure you will be guided the right way.

4. Getting in touch with your medium/psychic

Once you made a decision and you found a medium/psychic of you choice its time to contact them. Do yourself and the medium a favour and have your questions at hand if you got any. So much time is wasted and emails been sent from people to us psychic/mediums with loads of unnecessary questions, pictures and asking for free readings.

Working in this field can sometimes be a bit tricky because people have all sorts of ideas about mediums/psychics.

A genuine medium/psychic will happily answer your questions when you make contact and will help to clarify your concerns if you have any.

If you don’t feel that is the case than you might not with the right medium/psychic then.

Once you happy with your first contact you can go ahead in booking a session via Skype or in person. Keeping in mind that mediums/psychics do this work for their living not for fun, means that you should keep the appointment you arranged or if you have to cancel as early as possible.

Some mediums ask for a deposit upfront as a sign of commitment for the appointment. Ask for their cancellation policy just to make sure you understood everything alright.

5. Be honest

It can happen during a reading that the medium might not picking up on your question or greatest desire. It is important to tell the medium that you are not happy with the reading within the first 10min of your reading. It gives the medium/psychic time to tune into you/or the spiritual world again to see what else is there to talk about.

You should be allowed to ask questions at any time and also keeping in mind that sometimes we hear things that we needed to hear but we don’t want to hear. This can be part of the reading as well. But most important, do speak up if you feel the reading is not for you or its going the wrong way!!!

In general just keep in mind the universal law of like attracts like. If you do your research with the right intentions I am sure you will find the right medium for you.

Moonphase in Capricorn – Making long term plans

Did you know that the moon does play a significant role in influencing the energies of our every day activities?

In addition to that the moon also influences the weather as well as highlights the sensitivity of certain body parts while passing through the zodiac. Dependent on the Moon phase and which Zodiac the moon passes during its approx.  28 day cycle, the areas in our bodies can be more painful but also benefit of better results with certain treatments.

If you do things that do stretch, challenge or harm a certain part of your body while the moon passes through the zodiac and highlights their sensitivity, these body parts will suffer more than on other days.

Many people also know about the importance of the moonphase regarding appointments and surgery.

Therefore these people do plan intune with the moon calendar and relate to its wisdom for advise.

For example, on days when the Moon passes through Capricorn we should not undergo a knee or joint operation. Of course emergency operations do belong to a higher law and should not to be avoided.

Moon passes through Capricorn

When the moon passes through Capricorn our thinking becomes very clear and sharp. We will be less emotional and easily get things done, which we have procrastinating for far too long.

Moon in Capricorn days are great to realistically reflect on a certain project, a situation but even better to sit down and make a plan. On these days our sense for work and commitment will be highlighted and we should definitely make use of it. Everything that has to do with the law, the taxes or other legal stuff will get done on these days more easily. Capricorn is a very ambitious and hard-working sign and aims for the top of the tops. If we take the approach of Capricorn seriously,  we will find ourselves walking slowly but steady. We do know and accept that we need to take one step at a time and can’t just rush to the finish line because we it feels like to.

Capricorn is of caring nature and is concerned about the benefit of others, especially the own family and friends. Health:

The moon passes through the Zodiac in approx 28 days of time. During this period it highlights certain body parts and makes them more vulnerable. To know that you should not go hiking or skiing on a Capricorn in Moon day will safe you maybe from some serious Knee and Joint injury.

The knees and joints are very sensitive on Capricorn Moon days and we should give them a relaxing time rather than straining them too much.

You should also if possible avoid any knee or joint surgery, unless its an emergency. There are far more better days to get things like that done.

Capricorn is also associated with the skin and these Moon in Capricorn days are more than beneficial to see your dermatologist if you got problems. A visit to the Beautician to treat your skin and get is cleansed will pay off, more than on any other days of the moon cycle.

Stiffness in knees or joints should be treated with movements like Tai Chi, Yoga or swimming. Arthritis can be more painful during  Moon Phase in Capricorn, but also offers a more powerful healing opportunity.

Natural remedies such as Ginger, Boswellia, Green Tea or Eucalyptus could be beneficial. But to be right sure about that its better to see a herbalist and get expert advice on that.

Good advice for the day:

Avoid any sudden or quick activities and movements. Focus on a project for which you need a long-term plan. Open a savings account, plan some financial investment, speak to your accountant or banker. Don’t go hiking or cycling. Take it easy and allow yourself to take one step at a time.

Moon Report “Healing” 25. June – 1. July 2018

This weeks Moon Report is all about Healing and Reflection. Up to Friday the 6th of July we are in the 3rd Quarter of the Moon which focuses the energy mostly on Healing. In this video I will give suggestions on how we can make use of this weeks influence and assist you in healing yourself.

Once we hit Friday the 6th of July we will slowly feel the Dark Phase of the Moon building up which will lead to more passive energy and often a lack of motivation. A temporary phase of resting and reflecting will help us to gain new energy for the new cycle ahead of us which will start with a New Moon on Friday the 13th of July 2018.

I also do offer 1-2-1 Healing Sessions in person as well as via distance. A healing session is 60min and can be very powerful.

People looking for assitance in releasing old patterns and Trauma I do offer “Trauma Release Sessions” in which we clear away the old so we can make space for the new. This session is great for people who are on the edge of change or people who are ready to change.

“Restoring the Balance” Healing Sessions to focus mainly on recharging the energy field of the body, mind and spirit. It is a calming and restoring session and you will feel much more energized and relaxed afterwards.

Moon Report “Diet” 18th June – 24th June 2018

Did you know that the moon does influence our bodies on a very large scale? Have you ever wondered why you are more sensitive to certain substances or food on specific days than on others?

The moon might provide the answer if we look at it from different angles. A moon cycle takes about 28.5 days to orbit fully around the earth. On this journey she also passes through the signs of the zodiac and this has an effect on our bodies. Not only that certain areas are more affected than others but also our diet and how our body absorbs nutritiens is affected by the moon.

There are even certain days on which you can eat more than on others without even putting weight on.  And there are the other days on which you just need to stare at a cake and you already put weight on.

The magnetic influence of the moon does very profoundly affect our body and its function, the body is made of more than 60% of water.

My studies of the universal law and the moons influence have lead me to great insights which can help us to live a more happy and healthy life.

Moon Report “Attraction & Manifestation” 11. June – 17. June 2018

The law of Attraction or the power of Manifestation are known to mankind of for many hundreds of years. Often it was regarded as magic and still some people do think that you have to be very spiritual to make use of these powers. As time has moved on and we no longer “hopefully” burn witches on a stake we can also slowly let go of the thought that these laws or powers have anything to do with magic as we know it. Furthermore we slowly can opening up to the idea that there are laws maybe even physical laws out there that do have a certain cause and effect. This is not religious or spiritual talk furthermore we are speaking science.

The power of the moon with is magnetic force and influence on the earth and human as well as the weather and animals are known for thousands of years. We can even say that back in the day the moon was and still is responsible for our survival. It rules the weather, it influences our body, mind and spirit, if we do believe that or not.

By understanding the universal laws, learning about the power of gravity and magnetism we slowly enter into a knowledge that wasn’t accesible to us in this way before.

In my weekly Moon Reports I do try to bring this ancient and same time modern knowledge into the world and sharing my wisdom with everyone who wants to hear it. I am not claiming that I know everything but I confidently say that I have studied the movements of the planets and its influence on the earth and can say: “Yes, it does work. And yes it is powerful”.

Moon Report “Reflection” 4th June – 10th June 2018

The moon takes approx. 28.5 days to cycle around the earth. On this journey she also passes through each sign of the zodiac and this combination has a tangible influence on our personal lives.

Dependent on which quarter we are passing, it is beneficial to focus on one area in our lives to make necessary changes. In combination with the zodiac the energies can be very helpful to gain insights, attract certain things into our lives but also to reflect on certain subject that might require change.
