Julie – 22nd Universal law – The Law of Three (video)

This week it’s all about the law of three. What is it that lies between the negative and the positive? How can we enter that state of being in which there is no judgment, no expectations only all that is? Can we allow life just to be as it is without interrupting with our own thoughts, desires and actions? In chinese metaphysics this “life-force” is called the tao. We can’t touch it, see it or influence but it is the every changing movement that takes place all the time.

Tao or Dao (/taʊ/, /daʊ/; Chinese: 道; pinyin: About this sound Dào (help·info)) is a Chinese concept signifying ‘way’, ‘path’, ‘route’, or sometimes more loosely, ‘doctrine’ or ‘principle’. Within the context of traditional Chinese philosophy and religion, The Tao is the intuitive knowing of “life” that of which cannot be grasped full-heartedly as just a concept but known nonetheless through actual living experience of one’s everyday being.

Cosmologically, Tao signifies the primordial essence or fundamental nature of the universe. In the foundational text of Taoism, the Tao Te Ching, Laozi explains that Tao is not a ‘name’ for a ‘thing’ but the underlying natural order of the universe whose ultimate essence is difficult to circumscribe due to it being non conceptual yet evident in one’s being of aliveness.[citation needed] The Tao is “eternally nameless” (Dao De Jing-32. Laozi) and to be distinguished from the countless ‘named’ things which are considered to be its manifestations, the reality of life before its descriptions of it. ( – wikipedia 2015)
